Chiharu Shiota- Me Somewhere Else: I love how the design is monochrome and I would like to try more of bold colours and using only 1 colour.
Non-Violence- Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd:
this was created as a memorial tribute to the legendary singer and songwriter John Lennon, after he was shot. The idea behind the knotted gun was to honour John Lennon for his vision of world piece. I love how bold and straight forward this is.
Hundreds of feet of doll hair cascade from the window of the Riflemaker Gallery- Alice Anderson:

Glow in The Dark Plants
Where? The gardens location feels special and secret. It is nested behind the walls and positioned close to river thames. What is it used for? It is used to grow medical plants. What is the area like? Not much to do, there is a museum and two cafes. other than that I couldn't spot something that caught my eye. What are the people like? Not that much young people around. Detect a Rythm the bubble sound of the water inside the greenhouse, footsteps, birds chirping
A tipi (also teepee or tepee) is a cone-shaped tent, traditionally made of animal skins upon wooden poles. Modern tipis usually have a canvas covering. A tipi is distinguished from other conical tents by the smoke flaps at the top of the structure.
turning 2D Images in to 3D models (mini structures) ↑
we traced the Image with tracing paper and cut the shapes that we traced out of the foam board then we explored with layering them vertically and horizontally.
I cut long paper pieces and I created a knotted effect with the paper pieces and painted them. I have tried different ways of cutting and layering the paper. After creating my little structures I hang them from my bookshelf with some string to see how it looks when its hanging.
Architects & Structures
Dome of Visions- Atelier Kristoffer Tejlgaard
They combined the greenhouse design with the geodesic dome design. I really like the dome shape and have used the shape in the movement project.
Bombay Sapphire Distillery- Heatherwick Studio
I really like how this shape flows and I have seen in my sketches that it worked very well with colours.
Green Box- Act Romegialli
This is a pavillion made from a converted garage. I love how they gave something a new life.
Coop Himmelb(l)au, Roof Re-modelling: A law firm in Vienna wanted to extend their office upwards.
Stefano Boeri- Vertical Forest: A solution to metropolitan reforestation. Building a forest upwards.
Sunday Morning City
What am I Planning on doing?
I think that the garden lacks colour and light and I want t give that to the garden. I want my installation to be disguised and I want it to highlight the beauty of the plants instead of shadowing them.
Architects & Structures
Sackler Crossing- John Pawson: This form looks like its floating across the water and it allows people to experience the landscape in new ways.
ICD/ITKE Research Pavilion: carbon fiber material usage
Weaving Carbon Fiber Pavilion- Taichi Kuma
This structures colour and movement is similar to what I want to do with my pods. the colour of the pavilion goes very well with the green and I believe that I can get inspired by this in my project.

Choosing a Site
I chose Marylebone as my site which is located in central London. The reason I chose this particular area in marylebone is that I think it has a vey homy feeling to it and there are lots of activities going on here every time of the week such as the farmers market and children playing in the park. After deciding on our site we did a brainstorm and wrote a couple of words for our site.
